Series

Discover Magic & Mayhem, a contemporary fantasy series where hidden magic collides with modern city streets.

A polished black hardcover of a fictional urban fantasy novel titled “Magic & Mayhem” resting upright on a charcoal slate table, its cover artwork featuring an abstract city skyline woven subtly into swirling, iridescent mist. Around it, a few other hardcovers from the same series fan out, their spines aligned to suggest a cohesive collection without readable text. The scene is set near a loft-style window overlooking a softly blurred night cityscape with scattered neon glows. Cool, diffused evening light mixes with warm interior lamp light, creating gentle reflections on the glossy covers. Photographic realism, eye-level composition with shallow depth of field, sophisticated and atmospheric, evoking a modern, urbane fantasy world without clichéd imagery.

Reviews

A meticulously arranged author’s writing desk in a high-rise apartment at twilight, photographed in cinematic realism. At the center lies an open notebook with elegant, illegible scribbles, beside a sleek black fountain pen and a stack of mock book galleys labeled only with minimal geometric symbols instead of text. Through the large window beyond the desk, a dense city skyline glows with subtle blues and violets, one building’s upper floors wrapped in a faint, supernatural shimmer. Soft, cool ambient light from outside contrasts with a single warm desk lamp, casting refined shadows. Composed at a three-quarter angle with moderate depth of field, the mood is sophisticated, contemplative, and quietly magical, perfect for an independent urban fantasy author’s homepage.

a history fan:

A magical tale full of chuckle points and poignant thoughts. Good for those of you who would like a humorous jaunt in a fictional world that makes you ponder our own. Loved it. More please.

alison songbird:

I LOVED this book. It’s a magical, fantasical story that’s fun and easy to read, but also holds deeper truths about our society. There were so many moments where I was chucking, or reflecting while I read. I can’t wait to read more in the series!
